People on the Move - Exhibition, Short film and Discussion

Migrating for a job, education or safety? The reasons for leaving one's country are manifold. The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) collected different answers why people are migrating and created an exhibition which will be shown in Addis Ababa for the first time. In order to introduce a different narrative on migration, the FES commissioned a number of films in which people tell their individual stories. One of these films from Namibia will be presented, followed by a discussion in the Goethe Institute Addis Ababa.
